Mechanical Seal Wave Spring Type 1688
Wave spring and ‘O’-ring mounted mechanical seal with narrow cross section, short working length and set-screw drive. The monolithic rotary head improves seal performance in viscous fluids by eliminating rotational damage.
All common sizes are fitted with sinusoidal wave springs which offer a larger and even contact, minimizing operational stress and therefore increasing seal lifetime and performance.
The highly compact design makes it ideal for confined spaces, rotary lobe pumps and hygienic applications.
